Well, I'm starting to think that we need a German blog and an English Blog...
We just wanted to clear up for the English speakers what the weird flyer means: This Sunday we are organizing a benefit to help us raise some money for the trip. From 12 to 6 PM we are offering top rope climbing at the climbing tower "der Kegel". People can donate some money and all the proceeds go to help finance Tobin's trip. We have organized a bunch of friends to belay for the day and friends are also baking cake to be sold. Anke has donated clothes to sell. Jan, the master cook at the "Kegel Hutte", is cooking a solidarity soup and we have organized some people to paint faces on the kids and a machine so that people can make their own buttons. Should be fun but a lot of work! Tomorrow an article will appear about us in the Berliner Kurier, a daily newspaper here. Hopefully we can post the article here... We will let you know how it goes on Sunday.

the event sounds wonderful....I wish I could be there to paint faces and make buttons and belay...well maybe not quite that, but, it sounds great! I hope lots and lots of friedrichsteiners come out for Tobin.
